Towson’s Culture Fair
Towson’s Culture Fair was on Thursday January 26th where students could share the diverse culture of Towson High with each other. Many students wore their cultural attire and created presentations on their cultures. Homemade food like stuffed grape leaves from Palestine and baklava from Greece was handed out to students. Students were eager to talk with others and teach about how they and their families live.
Here are two students who are proud of their cultures!
Sophia A. : Brazil and Palestine
Sophia is half Palestinian and half Brazilian and very proud to represent her cultures.
Jona M. : Islam
“[Islam is] everywhere in the world and Muslims are not only in the middle east”
Big fan of taking photos and journalism club
