Senior Talent Show
The annual senior talent show took place on March 1st and it was a major success. Dozens of family and friends came out to support the very talented performers and announcers. There were singers, ukulele players, piano players, gymnasts, and dancers. All seniors brought a unique and brilliant talent to the stage and the audience was thrilled.
The show started out with hosts Nate Schwarz and Olin Ryan, who kept the crowd buzzing with their corny jokes and great sense of humor. They kept the show moving and gave the audience hilarious acts while the performers got ready behind stage.
Hannah Taylor came on stage and leaped from one end to the other with her choreographed gymnastics number which blew away the crowd. She did multiple flips and turns in the air which kept the audience on the edge of their seat.
Another unique talent show performer was the Talisman’s own senior editor, Amir Defino playing the ukulele while singing the song “One Day” by Matisyahu. His performance was uplifting and beautiful to listen and experience from the auditorium seats. Amir’s talent show debut made it on the Snapchat discovery page for the whole world to see which was very impressive.
The two seniors to end the talent show with a bang were Bethany Ptak and Georgia Darwin with their Beyoncé and Bruno Mars mash up dance number. The whole crowd went crazy and couldn’t stop laughing and smiling at their slick moves. Overall, the night was a big success and not only did everyone have a great time, but the senior class raised a significant amount of money for the senior prom.
