Ring Dance at Towson High
The sophomore ring dance will be held March 17, 2017 at Towson High School in the cafeteria. The dance is from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Permission slips will be found in the Towson High School front office. Guest are permitted but they are required to fill out a permission slip. Guest’s cannot be middle school students or over 20 years old.
A ring dance is a school event where you celebrate your class ring. A ring dance shows motivation and appreciation to get the sophomores through their next two years of high school (This tradition is one of Towson’s High and many other High Schools around the nation.).
The rules and regulations of the dance include-
1. Appropriate footwear must be worn throughout the entire dance. In the gymnasium sneakers or soft, non-marking shoes in the cafeteria, comfortable, non-slippery-soled shoes.
2. Appropriate dancing is required. (No front to back dancing)
3. In order to be admitted to the dance, you must have your ticket and school id with you.
4. The dance is for Towson High students, and his/her guest only.
5. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
6. No backpacks, bags, etc., will be allowed into the dance. Belongings can be checked.
7. Students must arrive to dance no later than 7:45 pm and leave at 10:00 pm.
8. Students will not be able to leave the dance before 9:30 pm.
9. No re-admittance after leaving the building.
