What provides both amazing, creative artwork and tasty, scrumptious food? Towson’s Edible Art Exhibit, which will be held on February 17th at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria. Come see the original creations of your fellow peers and support our art program. And there’s a reason it’s called edible art- when the night ends, you get to snack on the exhibits!

This one is a little farther away, but it’s still worth the trip. The All-Honors Jazz Concert takes place at the Walter’s Art Museum in Baltimore on February 7th at 7:30 p.m. Support the Towson musicians in the jazz band and chorus and listen to some fantastic music. Plenty of Towson students go each year, so don’t be afraid to join the crowd!

When’s the last time you played bingo? I know what you’re thinking. Bingo? But this isn’t ordinary bingo – it’s the music booster’s Basket Bingo on February 20th at 7 p.m at the Tall Cedars of Lebanon. And why is it called basket bingo? Each round, the winner is awarded with different themed gift baskets. There is also plenty of food and drinks available at the event, so grab a table with some friends for the opportunity to win great prizes and support the music program.

If none of these interests you, then consider attending one of the many winter sports events here at Towson. Varsity basketball typically plays on Wednesdays and Fridays. The boys’ next home game is on February 11th against Randallstown, while the girls’ next home game is on February 2nd against Chesapeake.

There’s always a ton of events going on in the community and school, so check local news sites for more ideas.
