New Library Book Delivery, “Best Ever” According to Mr. Ickes

Widely accepted as the “Heart of Towson High,” the school’s library is home to enriching resources, cutting-edge technology, and a friendly group of faces that keep the students coming back.

It’s always a good time to visit the Towson High School library, and now is the best to pay a visit to the book nook. Why? The brand new book delivery has just arrived! Novels, graphics. references, non-fiction, Dorling Kindersley, and more! Paperback and all! The whole shebang!

Is there a new critically-acclaimed novel you’ve been itching to get to? Chances are it’s included in the delivery. These bad boys don’t cost a dime to borrow. What are you waiting for? If you’ve got some sense to you, you should be hightailing it to the THS library the very next chance you get!

Still not convinced? I interviewed the grandmaster of books, Towson High’s very own Mr. Ickes himself, to get the full scoop on the book delivery. If this doesn’t persuade you to check out the new reads I don’t know what will:

Q: How does this book delivery stack up to those of recent years?

Mr. Ickes: “I think it’s the best ever. It’s got good variety; nice biographies, best sellers, graphic novels, and more. I don’t care what you read, as long as you read. You could be reading the back of a cereal box for all I care. But with this shipment, you’re bound to find something enjoyable.”

Q: What are some must reads of this shipment?

Ickes: “Just too many to count. Every grade level, every reading level, every student-to-faculty ratio, there’s something for everyone in the building. You’ll have to see for yourself.”

Q: How long did it take to create the shipment list?

Mr. Ickes: “A year. I started last year as soon as the previous shipment came in, so it’s an ongoing process. Whenever something catches my eye, I make note of it and add to the order form over the course of the school year.”

Q: Where will the students be able to find the new book selection?

Mr. Ickes: “We will do something different this year. We will have a wall of books. What that means? You will have to come to the library to find out.”

Wall of books? Where will this wall be? How will the books be oriented? What secrets will be uncovered? What does it all mean?

The answer to these vital questions and more will be answered this April in the Towson High School library. Whatever Mr. Ickes has planned, it’s sure to be something never-before seen and bigger than ever.
